Workflows or company process automation is a modern function for optimizing the work of employees and HR managers, which allows you to schedule a chain of tasks in advance in relation to an important date or team event. Important dates or events often include birthdays and work anniversaries, start or end dates, etc. Onboarding and offboarding are also included in the process of workflow.

Any process can be made into a workflow if the HRM system the company uses has the possibility to assign workflows to specific people, without reference to any dates. In this case, the processes can concern the start of training, assessment, survey, specialized training, etc.
